Colorado 2026
Recently, Kris and I had the pleasure of spending a week in Colorado. We were excited to go see a friend in La Salle, Colorado get married. And as we usually do, we take that as a sign to make a vacation out of it. When we first started planning this, we had a few dates in mind. We booked the flight, and then started to really look at what all in the area we wanted to do. Then we found out that Coheed and Cambria was playing at Red Rocks Ampitheater the day after we were planned to leave. Well within the 24 hour window, I changed our flights and we got tickets. Then, it was impossible to get timed entry to Rocky Mountain National Park. I expanded my search, and when I was able to get the timed entry for the day we were planning on getting there, I changed our flight again to the day before. So what was supposed to be a week turned into a week and a day, with a relatively busy itinerary.
Rocky Mountain National Park
We flew into Denver and had our first night in Boulder as we made our way to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Boulder was a quant town, with a great brewery to start at. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the town as we got settled.
